2.   How old are you?         17, 18 in June
3.   Where do you live?         Greenville, SC USA
4.   What do you do for a living?         Student, coffee goddess, Wannabepoetbabe, moveable chair for my cat Daisy, the TRUE love of my life.
5.   Do you drive?         A 1984 rusting Buick Skyhawk, white.. ugly.
6.   What do you do for joy?         Write!! Play on playgrounds, eat at bad diners with my friends, smoke camel lights, faking a foreign accent and order my eggs poached at Denny's, singing, swinging, sex, writing love letters.
7.   What is your pet peeve?   And how much does it weigh?  Does it sleep by the door?  Is it housebroken?         My pet peeves are: People that don't care enough to learn ANYTHING, small annoying dogs (like mine, Fritz a hound of Baphomet), and everyone who LOVES Danielle Steele, except my aunt Dee. She is wonderful.
8.   Do you write, paint or play?  All at the same time?  (While juggling a dozen eggs and riding a unicycle?)         I write. I don't paint. I like crayons. I can balance a basket of laundry on one hip, a screaming little kid on the other hold on a phone conversation and still drink my coffee, make dinner, and save the world.
9.   Who is the most impressive character you've ever met?         My grandfather...man. He was the closest thing to a Saint I have EVER met, and I was lucky to have him almost 14 years.
10.   Have you ever read, acted, performed, thrown up, etc. in public?          Well... Monday is my first reading and I am sop scared
11.  What piece of literature or art moved your soul to ecstatic waves of bliss?         Gee. Kerouac- Big Sur, Tori Amos- Boys for Pele, Leonard Cohen- Who By Fire, Bird by Bird- Anne Lamott.. this Pollock piece... when I woke up sleeping on the back porch and the sun was rising. ANYTHING by Anne Carson SO MUCH MORE. Get back to me.
12.  What was the first thing you ever encountered that made you realise that art is important?         I think Catcher in the Rye..... I dont know
13.  Would you consider yourself an artist?  A good one?  Why or why not?         I am a Tanya. Full and true.
14.  What are your favorite things that have ABSOLUTELY nothing to do with anything else? Olives, Green Tea, soft toilet paper
15.  What are your favorite things that have ABSOLUTELY everything to do with everything else?         My father.... my cat.. the memories of people gone (my poppy, nanny, John..), books, sex, pillows, love, my friends, worn blue jeans.
16.  What's the meaning of life?         Hula Bula Moola KUHLA
17.  Why?         Because that is canstantonese for I have no damned clue.
